A weekend gardening?
The plan this weekend was to get the garden done in Southwold. We did some - but there is still a lot to do! Next to the steps, there are some small areas that were covered with a weed suppressing mesh and gravel. However, a lot of dirt had got washed into the gravel and so while the weeds were not growing up through the mesh, they had grown in the dirt on top of the mesh. It was a very slow job to try and get the gravel separated from the weeds and even longer to try and clean it before putting it on fresh mesh. I managed to get three of the areas done, which now look much better.
We also managed to get most of the front borders done - but by this morning we decided that we needed a break and so went for a walk from Benacre to Kessingland. Along the way, we saw the Lowestoft lifeboat. There were not very many waves, so I tried to get down very low to get a some of the breaking waves in the front of the shot. It was not quite what I was hoping for, but I still think that it is quite a nice shot.
