Minsmere in March
We went to Minsmere in March hoping to hear the boom of the bittern, and to see the pair of smew that were visiting, and hopefully to see a bearded tit. Whilst we did get a very quick glimpse of a bearded tit, we did not hear (let alone see) a bittern or see the smew. However, the avocets were looking lovely, and although it was "just" a robin, it did like having its photo taken
