Perhaps our last time at Marks Tey Point-to-Point
Apparently, the Marks Tey course and the point-to-point meetings there are facing financial difficulties, and so the racing there this year might be the last. In an attempt to make sure they they do not run out of money, Teresa and I spent the day there on Sunday - and lost our money on every race that we bet on. However, they did not make a lot out of us on the betting, as we only bet on one race, losing £5!
As it was a lovely sunny day, we walked the course before the first race, and then walked it back in the other direction to stop and see the racing at different fences throughout the afternoon.
