Dorset Holiday
With the ability to travel a bit less restricted, we managed to book a week away in Dorset in a cottage about half way between Weymouth and Dorchester.
Unfortunately, our week coincided with the worst of the fuel delivery problems, which meant that there were long queues at most fuel stations whcich had fuel, and the majority of fuel stations did not have any fuel at all!
We knew that we had enough fuel to get us to Dorset and back again, but were not sure if we had enough for traveling around much whilst we were there.
Fortunately, we were able to get fuel a few days into our break, and so were able to travel around south Dorset a bit, taking in the Hardy Monument (walking from the cottage), Durdel Door, Corfe Castle, Portland Bill and Brownsea Island.
