Gala Day
Sunday 4th July was CMFA Gala Day - a day that was intended to include a lot of flying, competitions and burgers. However, the wind was a little too strong and so some of the intended events did not go ahead. The burgers did, and there were a few competitions, including one for the quickest time to take off, do three complete rolls, three complete loops and three complete spins before landing. The winning time was around 30 seconds(although the definition of landing was somewhat loose - requiring both wheels to touch the ground - not necessarily at the same time, and certainly not requiring stopping). It was intended to have a pylon race (lapping around two flag poles), but I did not stay to see that. Instead, I came home to process some photos.
